Before adopting FORM OpX, the boohoo group relied on manual data capture and entry. Packing compliance was documented by checkers using paper forms, which created the potential for human error and inconsistencies. Photos were taken with cameras and then downloaded on a shared server, adding an additional step that was both time-consuming and prone to technical issues. Supplier recharges were issued using an Excel document that consolidated all the gathered information, which was then emailed to the suppliers.
Furthermore, each site was responsible for populating an Excel log to summarise all of this recorded data. The logs from all sites were then consolidated into a comprehensive monthly summary, which identified the performance of each supplier. The manual nature of this process sometimes led to delays and inaccuracies, making it difficult to maintain reliable and up-to-date records across centres. According to Patricia Carolle, Delivery Compliance Manager at the boohoo group, “It was an admin-heavy process, with potential for human error and generating such heavy files that our systems struggled to deal with.

To overcome these challenges and consolidate on-site data capture, the boohoo group implemented FORM OpX. Instead of manually entering data across multiple platforms, they now had “one single tool to record checks, issue supplier’s recharges and issue reporting.”
After adopting FORM, the boohoo group saw a significant increase in the efficiency and accuracy of their site audits. “Since everything was all recorded on one tablet, we saw a dramatic reduction in admin needed,” said Carolle.
This implementation resulted in a streamlined labour model, leading to an annual savings of over 60%. Furthermore, operational costs were also significantly reduced, decreasing over 60% in one fiscal year. “Additionally,” Carolle shares, ““Hundreds of thousands of orders are checked yearly across all of our sites, highlighting the scale of our operations and the efficiency improvements achieved through these changes.”
