We're modernizing
Form.com this year.

This fall, Form.com is making minor updates to the mobile app, Windows desktop app, online portal, and admin web UI. Learn more about what's coming.

NAME CHANGE UPDATES

What's changing?

Earlier this year, we asked customers to prepare for changes to our product names in August 2022.

The changes to our product names are no longer scheduled for 2022, and customer-created training materials can be paused. The app name will remain Form.com for now. Our team will provide updates on this initiative in 2023.

In 2022, we’re making changes to our logo, app icon (pictured left), and colors on desktop and mobile.

TRAINING VIDEO & TOOLKIT

Welcome to a better way to work.

Get ready for August with new training resources. Download your comprehensive design toolkit that includes new logos, colors, and device screenshots to help you update your internal materials.

FORM leaders Heather Larrabee and Kevin Corcoran are here to walk you through your toolkit, what’s coming in August, and how you can best prepare your teams for the change.

August 2022

New links with the product names and new email addresses may require whitelisting by your IT team. We will provide updated URLs and email domains in mid-February.

October 2022

We will provide resources including training videos, design assets, and articles in the Help Center, but now is a good time to assess what information your users need to know regarding the change to the GoSpotCheck app name and icon.

Update your Bookmarks

Update your login bookmarks to opx.form.com in August 2022. Don’t worry if you miss a few–we will redirect you to the new login page at form.com.

Audit your Materials

Audit your internal materials listing Form.com and create a project plan to update them. Extensive training and design resources are posted below.

Ensure Users Enable Auto-Update

Ensure your users have “auto-update” toggled on within their app. This ensures the app icon change updates automatically, with no action from your users.

Take Action for Mobile Device Management

If you use Mobile Device Management, please inform your admin that the application’s name and icon will be changing in August 2022 so they are aware and can take any MDM-specific actions to ensure these updates are rolled out to your managed devices.

We've got you covered.

FORM will not change the product names for the GoSpotCheck, Form.com, or Key Survey products in August 2022 to GoSpotCheck by FORM, FORM OpX, and Survey by FORM respectively.

Our goal is to be minimally disruptive to our customers and their users. We will release new colors in various areas of each product to align with our unified brand design system in August and October, but we will postpone changing product names at this time.

The FORM team will provide updates in 2023 about our plans for this initiative. For now, no further action by customers is required.

FORM will make cosmetic changes to its products in 2022, introducing new colors. The changes will not impact product functionality. We invite customers to look for emails from FORM throughout Q3 and early Q4 with updates, previews of design changes, and details about what to expect.

Please contact your Account Manager to answer additional questions. You can also get in touch with our team directly by using the “Contact Us” button at the bottom of this page.

While we will continue to make improvements to increase functionality, the update to the colors in the admin experience will not change or remove any existing functionality. You can expect only minor cosmetic changes to the admin experience on desktop in 2022.

  • If you are using Form.com’s default design, yes, you will see the changes reflected in the UI.
  • If you have applied your own branding to the platform, no, you will not see any changes.

Self-hosted customers will not see these changes until an additional release planned for 2023.

Our family of products.

FORM acquired the four leading technologies for field execution and will unify the design and naming structure of its products as part of the process of integrating the technologies. The new product names are rooted in execution, with web and mobile interfaces united in a modern look with uplifting colors, tech-forward icons, and an even more engaging user experience for admins and mobile frontline teams.

As industry leaders for 10 years with the GoSpotCheck product, and 20 years with the Form.com product, FORM and its teams are continuously evolving our technology to exceed customer expectations. FORM’s commitment is to deliver an easy, efficient, intuitive end user experience. Uniting the names and product designs of our products creates clarity for users, team members, and the market about how FORM improves execution everywhere.

The new names and colors are scheduled for release in the products and app stores in August 2022, subject to change. FORM will provide continuous and advanced notice as we approach the official transition date. We will also provide training sessions and resources for you so you and your teams are prepared and confident before the release.

If users are opted in to automatic updates, the app icons will automatically update on users’ mobile devices. If they are not opted in, users will have to tap the update button in the App Store to get the new version of the app with the new icon.

The release will be pushed to users overnight during mid-month to avoid important beginning and end-of-month customer activities. The icon image will include a new design and name, so it will be important that mobile users are informed about the change.

Yes–the only changes happening in all FORM products are cosmetic (colors, fonts, and icons). The same functionality, product design, and location of features customers rely on will remain the same.

No–nothing is changing in the product functionality. However, FORM is investing heavily in R&D, so we will be delivering many exciting enhancements and features in 2022 to make mobile work more efficient, complemented by these new modern looks.

Yes. You will be able to log in via the form.com login menu. We’ll also redirect old login URLs to this site to save you time.

To support you and your teams in this transition, we’ll provide weekly updates and digital resources including talking points and design assets so you can create or refresh internal communication and training materials. We will also provide in-product messaging announcing the change, increasing in frequency as we reach the launch date. You can always contact your Account Manager with specific questions or concerns at any time.

There will be new emails for the support team, addressed by product, with the product name changes. Timing and details on these changes will be provided separately.

All users who use one or multiple API integrations will need to update to the new URL structure by March 31st, 2023. Before this date, redirects will be in place to ensure your APIs function without interruption.

Our iOS, Android, and Windows FORM OpX applications will all be receiving design updates with the August release.

Our corporate entities are not changing with this rebrand. We are still operating as WorldAPP, Inc., so while our app names are changing, our corporate entity, invoice source, and contracts will remain the same and will not affect our approved vendor status in the SAM system.
