According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Ukraine sees more cases of MDR-TB, a highly drug-resistant form of tuberculosis, than the rest of Europe. For the victims of this treatment-resistant illness, the cure rate is a mere 38 percent. Although healthcare in Ukraine is free, the system struggles to provide adequate and fair services to everyone. Many patients are forced to travel long distances to obtain medicine if they can't be admitted to a hospital.
The greatest sufferers of this health crisis are children, especially orphans. For the last five years, Form.com's charity has specifically targeted the needs of Ukrainian children by funding healthcare and sustainability projects. Form.com has made a commitment to match any employee contribution to the children of Ukraine, and we use unaffiliated, non-governmental channels to ensure that 100% of each donation goes directly to helping those in need.
The projects we have sponsored include purchasing new hospital equipment, financing for operations, and a chicken coop that provides economic stability for an orphanage through the sale of eggs. Through our gifts, Ukrainian caregivers have been able to properly address their economic obligations and provide better services to suffering children in the region.
We at Form.com are humbled to have been able to bring relief and hope back to many children who would otherwise have none. To learn more, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Form.com's initial charitable activities were directed through Alexey Levchenko, a man who gave his life serving others.
Alexey provided crucial maintenance and renovations for children's hospitals to help them fight tuberculosis, but ended up contracting the disease himself. He passed away in 2016, and represents what it means to "be of service to others."
Form.com helps Ukrainian children in need, whether it's financial assistance for a life threatening surgery, or providing medicine or equipment needed, we're here to help.
